Performing folk art (under Guru and Shishya tradition) was staged under the direction of Santlal in the institute campus today on 22/09/2024. While performing stage art, Shashikala, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Amarjeet, Shivkumar, Lalchand Chandrashekhar, Shyamdhar, Swanesh Bind, Rajkumar Yadav, Nandlal, Banshi Lal, Umacharan and other artists displayed their talent on stage. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Shri Ramchandra (elderly) folk artist, who said that today we all have to come together to save Indian folk art. Special guest Shri Raj Bahadur (elderly) folk artist said in his address that India needs regional folk art training schools so that folk art can be preserved.

Today, young women and men are no longer interested in Indian traditional folk art because in an economically inclusive society, greed for money is at its peak. Traditional folk art is only a stage show and social attraction as well as a guide to the society in which economic income is not seen. The basic concept of the institute is to provide training and performance of traditional/extinct folk arts in the rural areas. Today in the twenty-first century, folk arts are becoming extinct, the main reason for which is the adoption of materialism due to the dazzling glamour of Western civilization. In the competition for income generation, young men and women do not want to adopt traditional folk art, because Indian folk art is related to traditional farming, festivals, marriages, daily routine where there is no materialism.

The seminar was inaugurated by the school principal Mr. Suresh Chandra and said that Indian culture has a deep connection with nature. Indian culture has the philosophy of kindness, religion, charity, and non-violence. Festivals have great importance in Indian culture, in which the philosophy of eternal stability of mythological tales is easily available. In the customs of Indian culture, elders and collective family are a miraculous philosophy. In the current scenario of Indian culture, ugliness like disintegration of family, disintegration of brotherhood among themselves, loss of dates and festivals is visible. Today Indian culture is being tarnished by scientific glamour. Greed for money, luxurious life and the distorted speech of artists are attacking Indian culture. Indian culture is being disfigured by imitation of the culture of western countries. Young men and women are marginalizing Indian culture because of their external pomp, which is bent on ruining the fragrance of their soil.

Indian culture is moving towards becoming the world leader, in which it is protecting the environment through its lifestyle.
